We might be immune to the original variant but not whatever is the latest one.

And wait a minute. How many posts and threads claiming right after election day or inauguration day were the claims that covid would quickly go away? None of that has happened. Hard to take seriously those on the right and left who keep getting it wrong and are obsessed with what the other side is saying.

I don't care whatever talking points either of the two parties have. Everyone needs to live their lives. The gov't needs to stop handing out money. It needs to shut all the borders to any international travel and everyone needs to get the vaccine and take off their masks and live. And stop listening to the white noise coming from the Democon and Republicrat parties.
Sure let's just put our economy further into oblivion and keep deficit spending.

All for a virus with a 99.5% survival rate.

HAHAHA!

And remember last year when everyone said "Only a few weeks to flatten the curve."

We were RIGHT to say that there will be people who want to perpetuate this forever and ever. We're 14 months in, with 120 million people vaccinated, with our lowest case and death rates ever, and we STILL have people saying "WE NEED TO STAY LOCKED DOWN"

Wild!

Nope. Look up stats, not anecdotes.

Sorry if you can't understand that.

we have SEVEN HUNDRED DEATHS PER DAY in a country of THREE HUNDRED THIRTY FIVE MILLION.

Are you serious that you can't understand that barely anyone dies from this now?

Not an anecdote. True fact from the doctor involved.

So your 0.5% number is absurd as you get into the at risk groups.

Virtually all of the victims were extremely mature.

And it would have been much worse if not for the anti-Covid actions.

And I am a well trained statistician among a number of things. Ran large engineering groups for a Fortune 20 company for 20 years.

So your post tends to reflect a simplistic view of the stats involved.
