I look every day at world of meters to see how the Corona Virus is moving all over the globe killing millions.

I am so saddened by this plague. I still see this virus killing many .

This is the statistics of the world. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#repro Click on Yesterday and two days ago link to see the full numbers.

I look at the reality of everything going on. India is struggling now with this virus. I pray God has mercy and gets this virus under control . This film is heart breaking. It is graphic so do not watch because it is heart wrenching.

I stunned this or other viruses or diseases didn't cause more issues over the last decade or two. The academic and industrial progress far exceeded infrastructure progress. Real infrastructure like sewers systems, clean tap water etc. Probably nutrition and health problems from poverty as well.

Best Wishes

They are in tough shape, totally out of control and their vaccination rate is only around 10% and Brazil is almost as bad.

A COVID triple-mutant found in India could be much more deadly, and may be resistant to existing vaccines

Quote:
As India contends with its second major wave of COVID cases and a double-mutated variant of the virus, it now faces a new threat — a triple-mutant variant.

Scientists found two triple-mutant varieties in patient samples in four states: Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh. Researchers in the country have dubbed it the "Bengal strain" and say it has the potential to be even more infectious than the double-mutant variant.

This is because three COVID variants have merged to form a new, possibly deadlier variant.

The Times of India spoke to Vinod Scaria, a researcher at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology in India, who said the triple-mutant was also an "immune escape variant" — a strain that helps the virus attach to human cells and hide from the immune system.

He added that it could have evolved from the double-mutant variant — which experts say is likely behind the recent surge of COVID in the country.

Yes I see where Modi was holding campaign rallies with thousands of unmasked people and they allowed a Hindu festival with millions, were they thinking. 330,000 new cases in 24 hours.

Again like in the other thread: So a government held mass rallies without a mask and downplays the coronavirus (sound familiar?), didn't import foreign vaccines due to nationalism and said it was okay to do whatever they want - so now the average Indian suffers with no hospital space, no oxygen and deaths in a crowded country with a bad health care system. Is this surprising? Good ol' big government.
