That's the most justified shooting I've ever seen.

A knife is as deadly as a gun. Did you see how fast everything moved after they tried to deescalate tie event with a taser?

"Knives are a part of growing up" are you crazy. That wasn't a 4 inch pocket knife

How incredible is it that the guy is still holding the knife and the officer yells out drop it after putting 10 bullets in him.

The whole thing is........ fascinating?

Exactly. The officer should of shot it out of his hand, just like Clint Eastwood did in those Westerns. Better yet the officer should of lassoed the knife from his hand.

Come to think of it, the officer never said “please, drop the knife”. That might have worked.

The max effectiveness for the taser is 10-15 feet for BOTH prongs to connect. You better make the shot because taser is not a self-reloading weapon. You miss the shot or if only ONE prong connects, and the knife-guy will be on top of you.

This video demonstrates why knife vs taser is never a good idea

even a "dead" person will still function for a few seconds after shot in head or heart

Why is it some people can not avoid confrontation with police?

This is also the reason for justifying high capacity magazines.

People don't always go down in one or two shots.

And people miss too...even cops, with all their training miss sometimes.

Imagine if you were facing two or three guys like that with a six shot revolver.

Why is it some people WON'T avoid confrontation? It seems they actually go out of their way to escalate the situation.

I watched several of these and just blown away by what these guys have to deal with. Maybe we need to require people to watch some of these as part of getting a driver’s license to show why cops act the way they do.

This cop is just casually talking to this guy. It really does seem like he needs some kind of counselor or something and he’s going through something mentally, but then he turns and randomly stabs the cop in the neck and takes off. The idea that a counselor is going to de-escalate these people is ludicrous. In the next few years, there are going to be a lot of dead counselors from bullet and knife wounds if the Dems have their way.
