There is a certain sad irony here that Gov. Stitt's alma mater was the site of one of the biggest purposeful hit and run tragedies in American history.
College girl purposefully ran over 50 people watching the homecoming parade. Killed four and injured 46.
Yep, nothing could go wrong with this new law.
Apples and Elephants comparison... unless you consider "watching the homecoming parade" as rioting.
So are all those details spelled out in the law, I wasn't aware this law was passed to prevent rioting.
Then perhaps you should have read the first post before commenting. Here it is again.
"Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed legislation Wednesday that will protect drivers who injure or kill demonstrators while attempting to escape a riot, in addition to increasing penalties for individuals who intentionally block roadways."
Every incident will be on camera. If someone’s car is being swarmed they need to get out of danger. About time people are allowed to protect themselves and whoever is with them.

When has proud boys or tea party been known to block the cars of average citizens, to damage their cars, to pull the occupants out of the cars and beat them, to shoot into the cars to kill small children in the cars? Please, cite sources.

Seems the ones who have the "right to kill people" these days are blm antifa.

Do you care to name him, so the rest of us can read his story?

He drove straight through at least a couple of blocks, including through an intersection where he could/should have seen the crowd of people in the street on that last block. He could/should have turned at that intersection before he got to the crowd of people, so yes he belongs in jail. But, so does the guy who claimed, on video, that he was a leader in antifa and that he'd sent those people to stand in the street and told them to "prepare to get hit", and, who had used a gun to chase the guy down those streets. But no, the antifa guy was given a free pass for his part in the whole matter.
Not to worry, it works for proud boy, and tea party protests as well.
but they don't riot, so the chance of hitting one is nil
