What part of supply and demand do you folks not understand? As the country emerges from Trump's pandemic there is higher demand for many items with increased activity so prices will go up as demand goes up. Grade school economics seem to elude many of you.

I suppose you could make a case that it's Biden's fault in that had he not done such a good job of administering the vaccine program we'd all still be in our hidey-holes and not out traveling and burning gas.

Seems like prices of everything has skyrocketed-- homes and rents, cars, groceries, healthcare, college. That's mainly due to Federal Reserve policy though, this insane zero percent interest rate and quant. easing, they've bought trillions in bad debt and it keeps eroding the value of the dollar more and more, so you need more dollars to buy more goods. Econ. 101

Gas hasn't been that cheap since 2000-2001, I don't see that happening again

Good...I hope gas prices keep going up...the higher the prices get, the more people will push for alternative sources of energy. Gas Prices were artificially too low...
They should double the gas tax too to help pay for infrastructure improements.

You hope prices keep going up, remember that when its the middle of winter, 20 degrees outside and you need home heating oil. Or your Amazon delivery costs start to double because of higher fuel costs, it is a domino effect. Lets ensure that electric car plug-in costs double also "infrastructure improvements" apply to all...
