You may not have noticed but 75% of bawacky's output involves crying about things that never happened.

That's how this country was created. We seceded from Britain. If people don't want marxist cities ruling them, they have a right to do just as our founders did to protect freedom.

Republicans are not supportive of a secession. Perhaps there are Trump supporting rinos that do, but the larger party does not.
About 700,000 people who live in DC have no representation in Congress.

As I understand it, the intention of the DC statehood movement is to retain that portion of DC where the Federal buildings are as, as DC.

simple solution. reallocate those tiny residential sections to either VA or MD.

problem solved.

the dims would never go for it, of course, because they don't actually give two ****s about representation for those residents. this is purely about power.

Tiny? 750,000 people is "tiny"?

There's an awful lot of DC beyond the Mall.

How is that supposed to work? They're spread out all over the country. Which state/states will they claim? Will they separate from their family members who disagree with them? And all this over DC and Puerto Rico statehood.?

Seems a bit of an overreaction.

If DC statehood passes as well as Puerto Rico, the GOP will never again have any chance of winning the house, senate or white house. GOP need to be taking this as an existential threat and use every weapon available.

Sadly, the GOP is spineless and likely wont do anything.
Even without Puerto Rico and D.C., the fading Republican Party still won't have any chance of winning the Senate, House or White House. The Republican Party is on its death bed!

If that's the case it's due to the brainwashing liberal Democrats who have become anti-American fools. Does that make you proud?

That worked out real well in 1861. How about a more responsible option such as trying to return California to at least purple status. They didn't have to let California become automatically blue. Ditto Virginia and possibly Georgia and Arizona.
