The people who aren't taking the vaccines are generally minorities who vote Democrat. You will never see white liberals attack these minorities for their choice not to get it but obviously they have contempt for these minorities.

That's why Hank Aaron got his vaccine on television , to encourage black people to get the vaccine. Unfortunately he died soon after.

After attacking Trump for his response on covid, many of the same liberals rush to get the vaccine that his leadership made possible in a short period of time. Liberals like Fauci were saying a vaccine could never be developed that quickly and there were 3 or more sent to market in a short period of time.

What's funny is that everyone I know that supported Trump has either had the vaccine or plans on taking it with the exception of one.

Yes there has been some distrust among minority communities but that is being addressed but it is the Red
States (Trump Country) that are ones where they won't get vaccinated. Nine out of the Bottom 10 are red states (DC was the only blue one)...

GOP Men Are Most Likely To Say They'll Refuse COVID-19 Vaccine

"A national poll by Marist College with NPR and PBS NewsHour last week found a "huge partisan divide" in attitudes toward the vaccine, said pollster Lee Miringoff, and one that's most pronounced among men.

• Among all adults, 45 percent said they "will" get vaccinated and 22 percent said they already have; 30 percent said they would not get vaccinated.
• 47 percent of those who said they voted for Republican former President Donald Trump in November said they would not be vaccinated.
• Republican men were the most likely to say they'd refuse: 49 percent of them said they will not get vaccinated, compared to only 30 percent who said they would and 20 percent who said they already had."

Quote:
Those findings echo other recent polls. A CNN poll found 57 percent of Republican men said they wouldn't take the vaccine. In early March, a Pew Research Center poll found Democrats were 27 percentage points more likely to say they planned to get or had already gotten vaccinated.

The more people who are vaccinated, the harder it becomes for the virus to spread; fewer deaths, serious illnesses and hospitalizations will follow. Given those stakes, the vaccine rollout has been the centerpiece of President Joe Biden's first months in office. Miringoff said the fact that the effort is now associated with a Democratic president is likely shaping public opinion.

"But I think it's a question of political leadership" among Republicans, too, Miringoff said. "If former President Donald Trump were to have done his vaccine in public, that might have been providing some leadership."
We have seen those exact same sentiments expressed right here on the forums, so there must be something to it. (And yes, this is just another example of Trump's failed leadership when the public good is at stake.)

It seems like you people constantly make stuff up.

I was really impressed with the escalation of the distribution of the vaccine starting in February.

I applaud the researchers for the quick development of viable vaccines.

They did it - not any leader of any country.

Once developed --- we did seem to hit some glitches -- as proclaimed by the GEneral in charge of warp speed. And then we depleted the inventory before inauguration.

To think that production was ramped up and distribution was escalated to get so many people the vaccine is impressive.

The researchers could do NOTHING without Trump's leadership. Read the article links....even the ones from people that hate Trump.

There is a reason this country is so split.

Liberals can't read or even think logically and they have no clue how government functions!!!

You conveniently leave out many 'Trump states' have large black populations. It is similar to how liberals try to blame Republicans for low educational attainment, crime, etc , in 'red states' that are largely associated with minorities who vote Democrat if they bother to vote.

There are liberals who move to my city who always complain about conservatives but they choose to live in the conservatives areas of the metro rather than the high crime poor areas with voters that go nearly 100 percent Democrat.

All of the worst schools are in these areas.

Let's say you are right....wouldn't it be good if Trump was still president or at least allowed on social media so he could make the case for the vaccine. He has a connection with his voters that leftwing insult jocks like you don't have.

Biden isn't doing it, he is rarely seen in public. He would not even do a state of the union speech. Trump talked about the vaccine numerous times in every public event he did as president last year.

I believe liberals are far more unhealthy either physically or mentally than conservatives given your alarmism about covid. Most people who got it did not die from it. You guys screech about 'it's our body' regarding abortion when that isn't true but when it comes to vaccines, masks, etc, you don't believe people have a choice.

Nobody needs racebaiters and Russian collusion truthers to tell them what to put in their body. Get your nose out of other people's business. If you are a fearful person, stay in your house.

It is hilarious that anti-social liberals who falsely accused Trump of racism, Russian collusion, not caring about covid, etc also rush to get one of the vaccines developed quickly under his leadership. They said these vaccines could never be developed and approved this quickly. After that happens, they try to take credit for it.

Trump is kind of like a messiah figure , he saved the lives of people who hate him and won't thank him. They will be first in line for the Trump vaccines but won't allow him on Twitter and other social media.

There's no doubt been Trump voters who took a L from covid while waiting to get a vaccine. Trump voters should have been eligible to get the vaccines first and Trump haters last.
