With the Chauvin trial over with, I am curious how he is now in prison for one death less than one year later, while Kayleigh McEnany, who lied to everyone about COVID and led over half a million Americans to their deaths, is still enjoying freedom. When does her trial begin? When will she be putting her hands behind her back and be dragged out of court to prison for the rest of her life?

This woman, like Trump, knew each and every time she went to that podium she was lying to us about COVID. Whether or not we knew she was lying is not the point. She knew she was lying. And it's on video and audio. This woman is a Harvard Law grad. She's a fruitcake, but she's not some homeless junkie Trump found in a tent outside the Greyhound Bus Station. She knew why she lied and for who she was lying for. That's intent.

Someone has to pay for what happened to our citizens. We have over half a million people in this country who are never coming back, and an administration who lied to us for MONTHS and did nothing to warn us about this pandemic. The people in charge of getting the message out sat on the information. That's Kayleigh's job responsibility.

If this entire administration was nuts, then what needs to happen is a Charles Manson-like trial where the whole administration from 1/2017 through 1/2021 needs to be marched in to testify. Because we need to find out what Trump told these people to do; obviously he's brainwashed these people (just look at how they handled themselves on tv news shows) and like Charles Manson, Donald Trump will never show himself at the scene of the crime, even though he got these people to do his dirty work for him. I'm afraid most of these people like Sarah Sanders, Kayleigh McEnany and others will have to be incarcerated in order to get them to start telling the truth. The good news is most of these people have a very low pain tolerance and most will be treated pretty badly in prison. That usually gets people to get with the program pretty fast.

Having said all that, after all our loved ones who've been taken from this pandemic, this administration can not be allowed to just walk away from this like nothing happened. They knowingly lied to us. Someone has to answer and lose their freedom for this.

What other countries are seeking to punish their politicians for a global pandemic? Are you suggesting hundreds of thousands of Americans wouldn't have died if Hillary was president at the time?

You know what is nuts? Blaming an American president for a virus that was known and covered up in China, and allowed to escape to the rest of the world. You know what else is nuts? Calling a travel ban from China racist and xenophobic.

If we are going to start charging people over their failure in reference to Corona Virus we will need to start with the man whose job it was to make sure the president and all of us had the right information, our national infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci. The same one who told us to keep going on cruises, the same one who said repeatedly that the flu was more dangerous, the one who said not to wear masks, the one who assured us it was safe to go about our normal lives, the one who praised WHO and China’s response. The same one who admitted he knew he was lying about the face masks. Oh, and the same one who screwed up the response to H1N1.

Next in line should be Cuomo and the other governors who demanded Covid patients had to be put in nursing homes despite the fact that we already knew by the time they issued those orders that it was most deadly for seniors and most susceptible to spread in congregate living environments. And, of course, let’s not forget the state medical secretary who moved her own mother out of her senior home the day before the issue was ordered, Dr. Rachel Levine.

Until those individuals are charged there is no justification for charging Trump, let alone his spokesperson.

Fauci has basically admitted that he was covering Trump’s ass on masks because Trump ignored Rick Bright and let our supply chain for PPE become too reliant on China.

Trump is at fault more than Fauci in my opinion.

Thankfully, our criminal justice system was designed to protect the citizenry from people like you.

I am no fan of Trump and his administration and agree he mishandled COVID-19, but what you are suggesting is a bridge too far. I don't think anyone can be fully prepared for a situation like a pandemic. If you start holding policy makers to this kind of standard there is no way anybody worth his/her salt would ever run for public office. Winston Churchill faced a horrible dilemma in WWII. His government had broken the Enigma code and they knew about a bombing planned for Manchester. He made what I am sure was a gut-wrnching decision to do nothing, knowing that if he did the Germans would know the code was broken. He elected to do nothing and wait for a bigger intelligence win based on the breaking of the code. A lot of people died in that bombing. Was Churchill guilty of murder? Not sure why this example came to me, but it did, These are tough positions to be in and hindsight is always 20/20.

btw my father is English and grew up in WWII Manchester which is why I am so familiar with this story. My father considers Churchill his greatest hero.

I don't think you understand what 1st degree premeditated murder is. You honestly think McEnany gave those briefings with a straight face while in the back of her mind she was reveling at how many Americans she was killing with her lies? I agree that she lied on behalf of Trump on many occasions, but this is really a bunch of nonsense.
