Fair enough.

Jurors are extremely hindered in their ability to learn the facts, and are spoon fed from two different angles - one angle persuades for guilt, the other for innocence, and the juror has no way to try to make sense of what he's being told outside of what he's hearing, filtered through these two opposing opinions, who are motived to convince the juror.

We'd have many fewer errors in juror findings if jurors were allowed to question, were allowed to call their OWN witnesses, were allowed to view media, were allowed to confer with others they know have more information, etc, the way you do if you're buying a house.

The court system, in fact, appears to be meant to obfuscate the truth and give advantage to those who are wealthy enough to hire the best counsel. It's not geared to the best way to get at the actual TRUTH of the accused's possible guilt.
Jurors can ask questions during deliberations. They can ask for either the defense or prosecutor to explain things again. It is not like they have zero power over the info they have.

Having jurors call their own witnesses? How does that even make sense? The jurors are selected in part because of their limited knowledge of the case. The best juror has zero knowledge and can be as unbiased as possible. Are you just being argumentative to be argumentative?

so why does the left, including BLM org leader from NYC, among others believe it was the protests which convicted chauvin and not a 12 person jury????????????

why do black activists who pretend to represent the entire black community which they treat as a monolith, think a 12 person jury who finds in the favor of a cop is invalid?

I don't know. Those would be questions for the BLM leader.

Well Slavery does still exist in the USA, and an estimated 400 000 people live in forced work conditions. Plus nearly every day 3 women are killed by their intimate partner. It still happens today.

Neither of which is legal, so how is it relevant?

Thats normal today!!

In another thread on here, I have people that claim to be totally against 'domestic terrorism' today, but they celebrate HOW and WHY America became a free and separate nation!?

Seems like many people today believe 'some things' were only acceptable at one time in history and they are not acceptable today...?
