The UK/MI6 says it will spy on climate pledge countries and/or the biggest polluters.

https://newspunch.com/spy-chief-says...hange-pledges/

So enemies of progessive greenies now get the same treatment as nuclear bomb capable countries, terrorists and militaries on/near a border.

Is this the best use of James Bond's time?

The 'new' James Bond - eats lentils and wears sandals, instead of a Vodka Martini (shaken not stirred) he'll be on the fruit smoothies! :-D

So?

This is the British spy network we are talking about and is anyone surprised? Watch less 007 and read more history.

Richard Moore, wonder if he's related to Roger Moore.

Mr Moore, who is known as 'C' in MI6.

Also wonder what 'C' stands for, although I can probably guess.

Next thing is, if you are caught dropping litter, then you be targeted by a drone strike.

Just ask our resident Chinese misinformation posters...China doesn't spread propaganda, abuse people, spy, steal technology, make mistakes with their bio containment or anything else that every other country does or has done in the past 20 years or so.

They're just gosh darn perfect in every way, except like decades ago when some things weren't done right but have since been corrected.

So what? Almost all of the Kyoto signatories used it as toilet paper without consequence while clucking like hens about the US not signing lol.

EU can't even keep it's members following their own budget promises...what are they going to do about emissions? Write a terse letter saying they're miffed?

Biggest problem Europe has, they're packed with a bunch of talkers. Doers are a rare commodity.

Make sure you spy on the UK as well, which is home to global cargo and cruise companies, whose ships burn huge amounts of the dirtiest fuel you can imagine. Globally those ships produce as many green house gases as the entire country of Germany.
London is also home to the International Maritime Organization, which is the utterly corrupt body regulating international shipping.

When Britain spies on other countries, those will do the same thing, using the same pretext. Not sure that is what we want. It could come back like a boomerang.

China is much more likely to meet its climate targets than the US is.

Does Germany not have any 'cargo companies' then!? Of course its a little more difficult not to use cargo ships for importing and exporting cargo when your country is an island no?
