And I thought democrats were inclusive

Democrats Have Unfavorable View of Immigrants – If They Vote Republican

despite all the political rhetoric, neither major political party in America can be reasonably described as “anti-immigration.”

Republicans tend to favor a more controlled immigration, while Democrats increasingly favor open borders type policies. The debate in America is always over “how much” – not whether there should be immigration at all. This is unique to America. According to polling from the Pew Research Center, U.S. conservatives have a more favorable view of immigrants and diversity than the European left.

We need immigration. It is what has made America Great BUT that immigration needs to be LEGAL. It used to be that an immigrant coming through Ellis Island had to be free of disease, have the money to take care of themselves or a sponsor and have marketable skills. Those immigrants worked hard to learn the common language and integrate into the society. They were not told to forget their old culture but they had to fit in.

Today all of that common sense is thrown out with the Democrats seeing the next source of votes for them.

It is funny how the Democrats play these games. If illegal immigrants were going to vote for Republicans we would have a wall at the border. If it was shown that mass mail in voting favored Trump in 2020 they would have loudly squashed the idea. The Dems are losing their grip on the Black voters and what did they do? They demonized Trump and cast every Republican as a racist and started this false narrative of white supremacy taking over.

All that we should demand of any immigrant is that they follow our immigration laws and the laws of society once they are here. The Democrats don't seem to care about common sense laws.

Conservatives have a favorable view of "limited" legal immigration but an unfavorable view of illegal immigration of which the liberal left seems to embrace instead and an increase in legal immigration. It's all about emotion to them rather than common sense.

If they are voting, they're no longer immigrants.
They are citizens.

First off, none of the above was true with the exception of checking for diseases.

1. Not sure what a wall would do seeing as most illegals still get here by boat or plane(overstaying Visas)

2. illegals cant vote, not sure why you brought that up. the people you are praising who are legal citizens who did it the right way are the ones voting against Republicans.

3.LOL at you guys thinking a 2% shift in a high turnout election(or even a low one) is somehow the dissolution of the black vote within the Democratic Party.

There are still large numbers of illegal aliens jumping our border so yes the wall is necessary. Visa over stayers will just have to be dealt with in a different way.

Illegals may not be able to "lawfully" vote but there is evidence that some do anyway.

Cuban immigrants vote overwhelmingly Republican.

Can anyone explain why? Huh.

Republicans aren't all that great either, because if they were, they would have enforced laws that make it illegal to hire a non citizen for jobs. Want this to stop, then you need to go to the source of why they are coming here, and it's because companies are able to hire them under the table. It doesn't help matters that they also tend to get welfare so they can keep wages artificially low.

Shame, the IRS has no problem with making sure people pay their taxes, but they don't do a good job making sure those tax dollars are being used responsibly. It's all too easy to put some unchecked woman in charge at the local welfare office where she can use her connections to get welfare for undocumented immigrants. And no one seems to want to investigate to see if she has ties to some apartment where the property manager is getting nice kickbacks from all the section 8 rent vouchers coming in.
