Coved 19 can be carried for 2 weeks before symptoms appear.
I was not as careful as I should have been and a friend of mine and I got Coved19. it's no joke and I have distant friends that have caught it as well, not from me but from others.
It is my experience ( and that of others) that it can take years off your life even after you are over the basic symptoms.
I eventually found Ivermectin effective in cure and prevention.

They said 14 days from the beginning. How did they know that seeing how it was such a "novel" virus and all?

Wearing a mask in public when you might be at risk of getting others sick is just common human decency. That practice has been done in other countries for a long time
