Iran is normalizing ties with the Biden administration and Saudi Arabia.

Only Israel and the traitorous US republicans want war with Iran.

Talks are a pretty far stretch from normalizing ties between SA and Iran, but it's a good start.

The fact that they are meeting is a good thing, particularly with the Iraq-Iran history.

"Jaw-jaw is better than war-war". An interesting constellation.

Can they bridge the Sunni/Shia divide to broach regional self interests in the middle east? Hopefully.

"Normalising" relations with the Biden admin = Giving Iran and the American left everything they want, regardless of actual American interests.

Well, Iraq's Sunni government was toppled by Bush's Folly - ironically, what with that being completely in Iran's interest.

Well, as an anti war 21 year military veteran that actually spent significant time in that part of the world in uniform, some on behalf of Kuwait (and Saudi Arabia) under a Bush admin, I dont trust any middle eastern government to do anything in America's interest when America is using the carrot as enticement.

Biden is an idiot, just like Obama-Fact.

Yes, we all know the stick didnt work, Bush-Clinton-Bush.

Oh, I dunno - the Saudis seem happy as long as the US keeps the sea lanes safe for their oil. But as a smart man once said, countries do not have friends, they have interests.

I was there, protecting those sea lanes on different ships supporting Earnest Will missions. What is Earnest Will you ask?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Earnest_Will

America, protecting the worlds interest (not just Saudi Arabia) and those very sea lanes you mention against Iranian hyper aggressiveness that transcended commonly held international law. I have zero love for the Saudi govt, then and now, but I do respect historical facts and the truth.

It's the same Iran that Biden wants to bend over for now, just like Obama.

America needed energy independence then (the reason we were there!). We mostly have it now, but it is tough when drooling idiot puppets shut down entire energy pipelines over leftarded rhetoric. What are the gas prices like now where you live in L.A., compared to 5 months ago?
