i expected something like this but did not want o see this....
" the most startling finding, nearly half (44%) of respondents in the 53 countries surveyed are concerned that the US threatens democracy in their country; fear of Chinese influence is by contrast 38%, and fear of Russian influence is lowest at 28%. The findings may in part reflect views on US comparative power, but they show neither the US, nor the G7, can simply assume the mantle of defenders of democracy."

I would definitely agree that the US is the biggest threat to democracy.

I can think of NO aspect of our daily lives, that the Govt doesnt stick its nose into.

Bwah hah hah hah....read the article....biggest negative marks against the US? Coming from Russian and Chinese respondents.

Chinese respondents also giving high marks that their country has the right amount of democracy, amongst the highest of all countries.

Likely a population weighted poll so it's nice to see the Chinese propaganda flag picked up and waved proudly by msn.

The US is no stranger to interfering in the business of other countries and installing its own puppet dictators/ leaders that don’t work out as intended.

There are at least 81 known US interventions.

The US Government is a bigger threat to the US's democracy than Russia or China.

Well it was with Trump and the Trumpanistas. Putin's protege president certainly wasnt opposed to weakening US constitution and ruling through corruption, cronyism and the firehose of lies. Right out of the Putin playbook. He just doesnt have enough balls to carry through like Putin did in Russia. Those dang bone spurs dont you know.
