If you need an ID to buy a gun then you need an ID to vote.

You don't need an ID to buy a gun all the time though. Most states allow gun sales without ID.

No ID? You can’t vote in Florida, but you can buy a gun.

False, you have to pass a background check in order to purchase a firearms. To pass it you have to prove who you are. How do you prove who you are you ask? You have to have ID.

As to your link, it contradicts itself. The title states, "No ID? You can’t vote in Florida, but you can buy a gun."

First, as I stated above, you cant buy a firearm without an ID in Fl. Second, the article then goes on to states, "In 2013, a ThinkProgress analysis found that while in every state you need proof of ID to vote, in 39 states you can buy an assault rifle at gun shows or online without a background check and with no proof of ID."

Your own article states that you need ID to vote. This unfortunately is false, so if they got that simple part wrong, what else did they get wrong. Also, if you buy a firearm at a gun show you still need to pass a background check by the seller. The whole gun show loophole is a lie. If someone doesnt do a background check at one they are breaking the law anyway. You can purchase a firearm online without ID but you cant take possession of it unless you go to a FFL. Where you will need an ID.

You are correct though that personal selling doesnt require a background check but any responsible person will do one. Which can be done at a FFL.

I think they mean for sales between private individuals, and not licensed dealers. Everytime I bought a gun in Florida, I needed an ID.

We need to secure our elections. We need to assign every eligible SSN a voting ID number. Then a private pin. The person who registers to vote, gets their pin, and votes with their ID. They then can use that ID + pin to look up how their vote was categorized.

If vote audits are down, voting IDs are flagged, and then the person can go and verify if their vote was counted correctly.

No one is saying anyone is "too dumb" to get an ID. Stop with the straw men.

Here are a bunch of articles detailing how the poor and minorities are disproportionately impacted by voter ID laws. Note the dates of the articles.

It's interesting though. Why is there no backlash for requiring an ID to attain public assistance ? And many other things ? Only the animosity towards voter ID is on the news virtually every day.

7 things that require an ID

Welfare Benefits
Registration for Buying Guns
Petition Your Government
Right of Assembly
Right to Marry
Freedom of Movement
Public Accommodations

add cash a check. Open a debit card. travel by air, sea or land. Greyhound and Amtrack requires I.D. to board. All Airlines requires I.D
Why the Democrats and their carry towels media make no backlash about that? you know the answer.

NOTE: Greyhound as an exception. Greyhound Customer service on June 21, 2019. A person without an official ID has one option, which is to pre-pay a ticket online. It has an $18.00 fee on top of the ticket price and is only available in the United States.

Do you see blacks and minorities protesting Greyhound because of the $18 charge for no I.D. and the inconvenience of only buying it online? this is a joke.

by the way, if you buy it online and pay the extra $18 you need a credit card/ debit card/Pay Pal which requires I.D. to open account in the first place.

Dunno. Don't really care, either. Just debunking an oft-repeated straw man about minorities and poor people being "too dumb" to be able to get IDs.

That is exactly what they are saying. Too dumb and too lazy. Since this is generally equated toward people of color by the Dems - the Dems therefore are racist. Pretty simple.
