She was against taking the vaccine for COVID-19. She then catches COVID-19 and gets one of those horriific cases. She is now urging her loved ones who are resisting to get the vaccine and she wished she had gotten it in March when she was eligible.
I consider eating and walking pretty basic functions for an adult. Oh and getting to the bathroom by herself and not wear a diaper?
Her recovery will likely never be 100% and she's upset about that. Go figure.
I've known people who got strokes who basically were that bad, and they were so gone, they weren't talking about anything coherent. My godmother (who got a stroke and ended up dying 3 years later) would talk about her long dead sisters, and she still could eat and use the bathroom on her own.
I'm not saying you're lying, or exaggerating. But I'm suspicious she could be so badly damaged and still be coherent.
I'm balancing risk of getting the virus and the risk of getting very sick.
Those risks are minimal given I'm vaccinated and more are vaccinated. Also I don't go to a whole bunch of places with lots of people for lots of time.....not likely to pick up the virus, so not likely to spread it.
Let's be kind to those that need time to adapt. We all have different stress levels, anxiety tolerances.....
... cases and deaths are low enough that there will be little chance of a susceptible person encountering an infected person..
