Angie Harmon is doing OK for herself, too. And, of course, there are tons of people out there whose politics we don't know about, because they know that there's no point in turning off a potential audince if your name and likeness is your capital. Does anyone even know Jennifer Aniston's politics?
Yep. Come to think on it Arnold Schwartzenegger does pretty well for himself too, and he's a known Republican, given that he ran as one for Governor of California (and won).
Clint Eastwood's career got off the ground 50 years ago - before liberals starting ostracizing and demeaning anyone who don't submit to the left's agenda and viewpoint.
Right ... Back in the mid 50s it was the conservatives doing the ostracizing and blacklisting. How many careers did McCarthy and his witch hunters ruin?

BINGO!!!!!!! And checkmate. End thread. Very well played. You won’t be seeing a logical response to this, guaranteed.
I am a conservative, I think a lot of people (not just the liberals) are ignorant, this said, I think Hollywood discriminate against not making money.
No doubt Hollywood is a liberal community, any producer who finds a way to make money on any property, will do so. So you can say Hollywood is run by Capitalists. Let's face it, Kevin Sorbo (seems to be a nice guy) is no longer leading man material.
I've met both Denzel Washington and Arnold Schwarzenegger in person. Denzel Washington is by far the nicest in real life. He is even better looking in person. Arnold Schwarzenegger is very nice too, he really is a gentle giant. I dont think politics has anything to do with their success, they really are very charismatic people.
Hollywood has become an outer suburb of Silicon Valley. Pop culture has been defined by the Internet, streaming, and social media for the better part of the last 25 years.
That must be why Clint Eastwood's career never got off the ground.
.
Clint Eastwood was non political like the rest of them until lately. Plus the older stars have earned their fortune from Hollywood so now they don't need to worry about being hired.

Eastwood did run successfully for Mayor of Carmel by the Sea, but wasn't affiliated with a political party at that point.
He endorsed Romney in 2012, but also endorsed Bloomberg in 2020, so he doesn't really seem to suffer from partisan devotion to any one party. His political beliefs don't seem to fall in line with any kind of conservative or liberal template. (Pro-choice, supports gay marriage, and anti-war, but also anti-PC, wants smaller government and less welfare, etc.)
Sorbo is a hack, better known for his whining about political persecution than his skill (pause for laughter) as an actor.
As for this thread, conservatives sure love to tell us how much they don't care what Hollywood thinks, but then complain about how they're so persecuted and that Hollywood doesn't like them. It's confusing, man.
"Who care's what Hollywood thinks?!"
"Why don't they like me? Waaaaah!"
"Who care's what stupid Hollywood thinks?!"
"How come they don't like me? Waaaaah!"
And I would agree with one conservative argument, at least in this instance. Who cares what Kevin Sorbo thinks?
