Oh lots of people will see the consequences of "tax the rich". We already have 2 corporate giants expanding ...OUTSIDE of the US. The money has started leaving the country...out of banks accounts, out of the country and invested so it can't be taxed.

We also have many large companies investing inside the US. Markets are global.

I haven't delved into his tax plan. I am not sure if this is accurate or not but I heard that the increases start at 45K which is hard to believe but, yet, with this administration who knows...

The increases do not start as low as $45k. I suggest you actually read the tax plan as you come off as someone spreading false rumors without doing so.

You left off a 0. That's 450K not 45K for singles and the cap gain tax.

They start at much lower than $450k. Don't believe the marketing.

It’s time the rich start coughing it up. What are they gonna do? Move to Europe where they’d pay more or move to a third world country?
It’s time for the 50% of freeloading households to start paying their share of federal income taxes.

I would agree. I make a high income (at least what people here would consider high) and Trump's tax policies reduced my tax burden to near-zero for previous years and this year it will be zero. Trump made it so the wealthy or high income can freeload. It's time to change that.

You seem to know a lot about the Biden tax plan. At what income level do the tax hikes start? What does "much lower" than 450K mean?

Everyone's tax situation is different so it's going to apply to people differently. However, if you ignore exemptions, deductions, etc. (because people have different # of children, homeownership, etc.) a single filer could end up paying more in taxes at an income as little as about $170k. And that's not rich by any means.
