I'd be interested in seeing the 1 and 2 wins symbols he states he flashed.
Um watch the video and he shows 1 and 2 just like he showed 3. Wow, people are truly going nuts over nothing, but he is a white contestant, so this is our new norm. All of this is the direct effect of the democratic party using race and gender as a political platform. You would have to be living under a rock not to see this.
I enjoy watching Jeopardy. What kind of nuts spend the time paying attention to such meaningless issues? They were outraged and planned to boycott the show when Dr. Oz was guest host because he has faced controversy over ALLEGEDLY dispensing questionable medical advice. Really? People get a life!
I didn't particularly care for Katie Couric, but so what!

I always thought you had to be smart to be on Jeopardy...these are some of the dumbest people on the planet...
sigh.. I hope this poor man is able to keep his job.

My question is: Even if that was a white power hand gesture, so what?
First of all, who gets to decide what hate speech is and who gets to decide who does and doesn't get their feelings protected from being hurt? What, I must ask, gives people the right to make everyone else believe the same way as them?
It seems that more and more, the very people who claim to be champions of civil rights are the very ones making issues over what can and cannot be said or expressed. One is only allowed to have freedom if they agree with the squeeky wheels of society. But if you even think about disagreeing with them, to say nothing of having religious reasons for disagreeing, you are immediately branded as intolerant and called some form of ".ophobe" and shamed until you agree with them (after issuing a public apology). And if you still don't give in, you are now guilty of hate speech.
Look, we live in a mean society, (mean society =/= systematic racism lol, not even close) accept it and stop blaming others for hurt feelings. Yes, there will always be people hate you simply because you are who you are. Take some accountability for yourself and don't get yourself into such situations in the first place. Which mans, if somebody on tv bothers you, turn it off. That's it.
The whole reason for anyone wanting speech legislated is not for some noble reason of making a kinder society, let's not kid ourselves. Don't be foolish enough to think everybody has everybody else's best interests in mind. It is for SELF SERVING reasons that certain groups want legal protection from what they consider "hate speech" If you dig deep enough, you will find there is always a motive behind the appearance of an altruistic reasons.
