Be ready for the "Knock knock" and it isn't the post office.
If that were to happen...it would be totally appropriate to respond with force too!
That is PRECISELY what the 2nd Amendment protects us from! if Govt should ever attempt to arrest or seize the guns, they need to be met with force.
Making your own gun from scratch is a RIGHT we have in this country, as long as you are not intending to mass produce or sell them, its our right to do so.
I get the impression sometimes on these gun threads, that many posters are almost boastful that govt/police can and will violate our rights...what is up with that? LOL (that is not something to be proud of or to brag about)
If I ever build and use a Ghost Gun, the purpose will be to protect my rights against fanatical lawbreakers in elected or appointed office. Those who think I shouldn't be allowed to defend myself against criminals. They are some of the most societally dangerous people in the country, and the more I find them trying to violate the law, the more likely I am to need a ghost gun to make it more difficult for these elected criminals to take their revenge on me.
Why in the world would I EVER give these criminals a way to find me?
We are living in the age of political retaliation.
It is not illegal to make your own guns and the criteria is clearly posted by the BATFE. You do the machine work/finishing machine work yourself and you cannot sell that gun (or receiver) to someone else, nor can you do the machine work for someone else.
Most crimes are committed with stolen weapons, and most criminals that commit these crimes have lengthy rap sheets yet were free to commit more crime, so what is really the problem?

Selling ghost guns is like selling pot.....
The government wants their cut. It is the sales taxes that matter the most to them.
Taxing firearm sales, use to be unconstitutional. Taxing a right.
*SNIP*You do the machine work/finishing machine work yourself and you cannot sell that gun (or receiver) to someone else,
Not true, so long as you aren't in the regular business of doing so (which would require a Federal Firearms License), nor did you do it with the intent to sell. In fact if you do decide to one day sell, you don't even need to serial number it.

This is more of a gray area. If money is not involved, it's probably a lighter shade ("hey bud can you help me build this?" and you're not regularly doing so especially for strangers.
They are virtually untraceable so that makes things tough for law enforcement.
.
Says who? Show me proof that 80% firearms are used in a lot of crimes. They require machining to finish them. You think the average gang banger is doing that?
And how hard is it to take a file and sand off the serial number on ANY firearm?

lies...........Prove me wrong...........
