According to the article you posted.

Biden has nothing to do with it.

These companies aren't stupid. Biden wants to raise the corp tax rate to 28%.

These corporations are getting their money out of their bank accounts and out of the country to avoid that tax.
Yes, Ford was 9/2020 but it was pretty much a shoe in that Biden was going to be "selected".

Of course, the link did say this:

"The Ramos Arizpe plant is expected to be GM’s fifth manufacturing site in North America to produce electric vehicles following announcements for two plants in Michigan and others in Tennessee and Ontario, Canada."

The article also admitted to not knowing if the batteries produced in Mexico would be sold in the United States.

While I am all for new manufacturing plants in the US, I do not expect EVERY new plant in the western hemisphere to be located here.

Trump did nothing when GM shut down the Lordstown OH Assembly plant and opened a new line in Mexico...Trump did nothing to fight for these kinds of jobs.

What do you want?

That plant in Mexico means jobs in Mexico. The people who come here to work will stay home. And the people from CA can invade Mexico.

Make up your mind.

People need work to feed their kids. They will do what they need to do to get that done.

Whatever we get from China would make a lot more sense to me that it be made in Mexico. Washing machines, water heaters. Wouldn't you rather have Mexicans working in Mexico than in the USA. And wouldn't't you rather that washer come from Mexico than China. For God's sake, getta grip.
