Out of 6,000 gun stores in the U.S., just a handful have Black owners.

"I think that economic power is important," she said. "And if certain people don't have access, they get left behind. I think that's why it's important for people of color to own more gun shops, to run more schools like this."
It looks like the Peacock thinks that they lost the gun control issue so they are turning it into a racial issue.

I never knew that so few blacks owned gun stores but, I've never seen a shortage of black buyers at any of the three local gun store and ranges I visit. Same is true for Cabellas and other big box stores that sell guns and ammo

Everything today is racist or some other cists

Well, I for one, am sick and tired of all this crap!

Did it ever occur to you that maybe black people just aren’t interested in opening and owning a gun store? I mean, I just don’t understand why anyone would get upset about this or how this could be considered racist. Maybe they have other business ideas that appeal to them more?

This is yet another problem with forced diversity. Maybe it’s just not a popular profession or desire to certain people. At the risk of sounding racist, I will toss out an example. Motorsports. On the whole, there are very few POC involved in Motorsports. Why? Maybe they just aren’t that into it. So in the name of diversity should we force a bunch of POC to enter the Motorsports arena even if they have absolutely no desire to do so?

You didn't even read the OP and article

It's the Peacock, not me, making this an issue. NBC is so dam lib and they know they lost the anti-gun, platform not ME

How do you make a million dollars with a gun store ?
Start with two million.

There's a small fortune in licensing fees alone and that's before operating costs, inventory and security.
...and then there's shortages in everything from firearms, ammunition and accessories. Many shops have closed since the first great ammo shortage of '08. Its not an easy business to enter.

What's so great about owning a gun shop? Store ownership is not something that surges because purchasing a business takes some time.

Obviously if the percentage of black posters on this thread does not equal the percentage of blacks in the general populace, this thread, and all who participate, are racist.
