If this Cop would have put out a video praising Lebron and saying officers like him must do better in fighting the systematic racism which has killed so many unarmed black men is anybody really going to come here and say with a straight face that he would have been suspended because he wore his uniform while doing so. Please, he would have been on CNN and the View while they all praised him.

Looks like they waited for the social media hubbub to die down and then fired him.

Or stepping into reality - Don't violate your employer's code of conduct.

I thought the video was funny. Posting it in uniform is where he went wrong.

And what if he expresses his political opinion by taking a knee with BLM while in uniform?

All good?

I never saw it, but indeed, doing anything in an identifiable uniform is his fault.

Sure, yeah. I'm assuming you've never had a job which required you to sign a code of conduct?

Yeah I forget the premise of the video but if memory serves it was LeBron calling the cops for assistance and he gave a smart aleck response. I chuckled at whatever it was but I remember saying to myself this wasn't going to end well.

I don't think it's a career ending thing, just the end of his career in that jurisdiction.
