That would be your opinion, to which you are entitled.
Not really. I was lucky enough to be suspicious from day one. I was able to find the many years worth of studies online concerning the effectiveness of cloth masks. Guess what? Those studies have since disappeared or have been significantly altered. Why do you think that is?
I really wish I would have had sense enough to copy/download those documents. But I did not. The "file cabinets" have since been cleared and burned. And any new study that comes out which does not toe the line is immediately discredited.

Most of the studies are still out there if you know where to look. They’re still on WHO’s website for example. I am totally sure that the social media companies have engineered their algorithms to suppress them or put nonsense warnings on them though.
Florida is where people go to escape their lockdown hell. Where I live in the NYC suburbs, it's a common destination. Then they get back home and trash talk Florida for their Covid strategy.
It's like where I live. Californians come to my area to travel and when they get back home, they whine how we need Europe style lockdowns.

Say what you will. I'd rather a surgeon operate on me wearing a mask than not.
The world is not an operating room, as much as you wish it were.
Doctors wear masks because they prevent large droplets of bodily fluids that may contain viruses or other germs from escaping via the nose and mouth. They also protect against splashes and sprays from other people, such as those from sneezes and coughs. That's what wearing masks does in a pandemic. The end.

@RowingFiend, I think you're missing trobemom's point. They appear to be saying that masks should be an absolute requirement for the general public if you are in a small enclosed space with someone who has exposed open wounds or perhaps hanging around a burn victim. In most other situations, it's not necessary.

That's just silly talk. Of course I wouldn't want the world to be an operating room. How does that even make sense?
