Well... they have gotten a country "of their own" to move to for the first time in the past couple of millenia and a few centuries (estimating) after all.
For that matter, Americans seem pretty shocked whenever they find out that a black person is from Iran. Iran is, in fact, about 2% black. It's just not something that ever seems to come up.
I disagree. In our home, the conversation OFTEN turns to the subject of Black Iranians. Other times, we'll sit around discussing law-abiding Italians, non-drinking Irishmen, childless Hispanics, Asians who can't do math, whites who aren't prejudiced, Canadian illegal aliens, Germans who smile, and LAPD SWAT Team members who raise orchids as a hobby. While NONE of these groups are well-known, EACH one does exist.

I doubt it has ANYTHING to do with their persecution by those Muslim nations...
This discussion is supposed to be about the Arab Christians, and I find it interesting that they are being bypassed for discussion within their own thread.
people have a hard time believing there are and were arab-jews before the european jews settled into what is now isreal. simply because of the modern ethnic composition of the word jew
While on the subject, I'll ask: How do Arab christians feel about Israel? Do they agree with muslims on Israel, or is it different?
they probably will agree with muslims or from an arab stance in general (muslim/ islam doesnt equal arab as one who is jewish can only be jewish thru an ethnic name think about it, jews are seen as a race or ethnic group but the fact is there are jews who have jewish religous dating back to god knows when, from africa and the middle east not europe) because there were arab-jews living in what is known as isreal before the country called isreal was created in 1948...
this is my opinion of what they may think about jews...arab christians, arab jews, arab muslims, there all arabs and semites thats a commonality
i dont ignore it i am very aware of it and am proud of them.
