Many people don't think it's "trivial." Do you honestly think any of these people are thinking to themselves, well, some random putz on the internet says wearing a mask is "trivial,' I guess she's right and I'll change my mind?
Especially when it's probably true that the benefits of wearing a mask that are trivial, not the costs.

Correct, and they may actually not have any benefits at all! They may have caused MORE virus spread! They cause increased face touching, increased germs in contact with one's mouth and nose, and they decrease oxygen intake. They also make people "feel" safe so they likely increased the amount of congregation of people who didn't think they needed to stay further away.
But let's just do it for an indefinite amount of time because my TV told me to!

As long as the covidophile community is large enough of a demographic within his supporter pool (I call it the Biden cesspool) to garner sufficient virtue signaling points for him. I suppose he needs to walk a fine line because I personally know several liberals who are at the eye rolling stage with the mask thing. If Biden becomes out of touch with his serfs, he may well start to lose some support. Lot's of people on the left and right are sick of the mask stupidity. His masked face is obviously a political move and the political climate is changing on masks--most are just sick of it.
And any vaccinated person who knows what a vaccine does and believes the vaccine is effective has already thrown the mask in the garbage. Those who haven't are wearing a mask for some other reason than covid. I wonder what that reason is? (that's sarcasm, we all KNOW the reason(s))
I guess his care taker "Hog-The-Camera-Jill" will let him know. She signals him to wave, as she demonstrates....frantically waving whenever there's a camera around.
Biden is leader for the USA. The USA is not nearly at rate of vaccination that suggests most Americans are vaccinated.
So yeah -- overly cautious. I'm vaccinated, wear a mask if it seems a store owner wants it. I don't have a problem with people requesting stuff.
We just came back from Gatlinburg Tennessee. Interesting to see how some people are masked walking down the street, some are never masked. Some stores request it -- some don't.
Restaurants same thing.
I'm vaccinated, have no problem with folks choosing to wear a mask, but I chose not to wear a mask when I didn't want to.
I thought that was what the USA were all about......
