"my black people"

Odd to use a possessive, doesn't this further perpetuate master/slave symbology? Seems like the exact opposite of woke? Or is it a woke Freudian Slip?

"to my black people"

I don't "have" any black people, so I guess it's not for me.

Imagine the simple substitution of "white" for "black" and the outrage it would spark.

Does that somehow make it better?
IMO teaching children they are different and to identify according to skin color is nothing less than teaching racism and segregation. Using negative language to do so even worse.

The "to my black people I love you" shirt appears to be targeted at black people:

The racism tried to steal my joy shirt also appears to be targeted at black people, in this case, children:

Got to start the indoctrination early.

What about little white kids? They don’t deserve to feel good about themselves?

The shirt would read "100% cotton and I picked it!".

I would argue these shirts WON'T make children "feel good" about themselves. Exactly the opposite.

But yes, children, of all backgrounds, have lots of shirts on the market to make them feel good about themselves, with boasting mottos on them. A bit much, actually.
