We watched a party literally dismiss every intolerant and disgusting act he did for 4 years, and then when he made a bid for autocracy they were so used to reflexively defending him that they still felt helpless to do anything other than stand there and scream TDS at anyone who opposed his efforts to trash the Constitution.
