The only Authorized job of Government is to secure your rights. The 16th amendment is the root of all this mess. Do away with the 16th and all the pork for pet projects and political kickbacks, ends.
Unfortunately it would be hard to craft a legal statement to stop it. Even if you create a "single-purpose bill" amendment to the Constitution, this all falls under the "single purpose" of budget. Unless you could force Congress to break it down into funding Federal concerns vs grants to state and local projects.
So all you can do is deflect ? Why not defend your party and their spending ?
Pelosi was still in charge of the House during Trump's administration.
It's not my party. But if the Trumpublicans can't manage their deficit spending, why criticize the deficit spending of the Dems? It's pure hypocrisy, as always.
That's not a deflection. Republicans do not care about debt. They say they do when a Democrat is president.
Democrats don't either. So what is the point of deflecting ?
