C’mon, bro. You know how hypercautious the CDC is about lifting restrictions.

Indoor mask mandates aren’t going away until 2022 at the earliest.

Still, it’s nice to see an expert as respected as Gottlieb taking the bull by the horns. “How this seems to work is Gottlieb says it, a couple of weeks later a lib-shaming piece gets published in The Atlantic, and three weeks after that Biden tells the CDC to do something,” Patrick Ruffini half-joked about Gottlieb’s influence this morning. That’s an exaggeration but not a huge one: Gottlieb has consistently been more aggressive on matters like ending outdoor mask mandates and easing restrictions in schools than the federal bureaucracy has, only to have that bureaucracy catch up to his position within a month or two.

So, baby steps.

At this rate, Fauci and the witch doctors running the Centers for Democrat Control ("CDC") will finally change the guidance on indoor masking around 2030.

To me, I don't see the big deal. This happens like once every 100 years.
It is a "big deal" when the government micro-manages everyone's lives down to details like 1) what they have to wear; 2) where they can go; 3) whether their business can remain open; 4) whether children can be educated; and 5) whether housing contracts are valid and enforceable. The list is much longer than that, but those are some of the big areas of overreach.

Never again should the government be allowed to pull the unscientific nonsense that the Democrats and the CDC got away with for the past 13 months and continue to get away with.

I just ate a restaurant at the bar where none of the employees were wearing a mask. I was fine with it. What I wasn't fine with was listening to the female servers cuss left and right directly in front of me. I mean I've got a serious mouth on me myself but I would never cuss at work directly in front of customers. I left because of that..

There should be no mandate for outside. I don't think there should be a mandate inside. So many bars/rests are open now. People don't wear them in their. Vaccines are available. If you're afraid of catching covid & don't want a vaccine stay home. Let us live our lives.

I’m in a blue state and they are talking July 1st. That’s good enough for me.

Until there's a "variant" and they say August 1st, and then September 1st, etc.

July 1, 2021. Right on time for the 30 days to slow the spread.

WASHINGTON -- Dr. Anthony Fauci says federal guidance on wearing face coverings indoors may change soon. Sunday on ABC News, Fauci was asked whether it's time to start relaxing indoor masks requirements. Fauci replied, "I think so, and I think you're going to probably be seeing that as we go along, and as more people get vaccinated."
