Counting remains underway across the country and after the results from 76 out of the 143 councils are declared – the Labour Party has lost more than 150 seats. Currently, the Tories have taken 1,153 council seats, an increase of 161. The Labour Party is on 788, a decrease of 174. Labour has won control of 32 councils – a net loss of control of four authorities. Meanwhile, the Tory party is on 31 – a net gain of eight.

Due to this devastating election performance, Sir Keir has come under fire from within his own party for failing to set out a clear plan to attract voters to the opposition.

Let's hope the same happens to the Democrats here in America in 2022.

Gotta love the UK for taking care of business. They usually do. Such a tiny country, yet so powerful! It amazes me how tiny they are, yet are a world power. Amazing really. They know they needed to exit the EU and now they are seeing the future clearly.

Yes, lets hope the US starts seeing things clearly, but lets face it. We are overall a MUCH dumber society than the UK. Not even close really and with our minority population that is really lacking intelligence on average as anyone can clearly see by simple testing, we are in for a long haul compared to the UK.

Good luck out there. We will need it!

Non-white voters make up 30% of the electorate in the US.

Non-white voters only make up 10% of the electorate in the UK.

Republicans win the white vote 60%/40%, yet still cant win the election.

Conservatives in the UK win the white vote by any decent margin and they've won the election.

Democrats don't have to worry about the white working class vote any longer and appeal to their instincts, they did in the 80s but they don't now. Labour in the UK unfortunately still have to and can't rely on the ethnic minority population to pad up their vote, although they can in multicultural London (only 45% white British), which is why unsurprisingly the Tories do absolutely sh1te there.

On economic issues they are, possibly even further to the left actually.

But on social justice issues, the democrats are definitely further to left. The Tories scapegoat immigrants and foreigners, trash BLM, fly the flag, cut foreign aid, and certainly would never in a million years grant amnesty to illegal immigrants.
