Colorado Springs can be a fairly violent city, but even with this mass homicide still far less than Democratic St. Louis and Democratic Kansas City.
Why do you always assume that the political leadership of a given area must necessarily be related to crime or homicides within it?

Just in CO this year we've seen shootings in Boulder (rather liberal) and this one in Col Springs (rather conservative).

Wow. That's the biggest mobile home park I've ever seen.

Shooter is believed to be the boyfriend of one of the deceased. Not surprising.

Uh-huh. And the "woke" reporter in Portland (I think) with the building burning behind him, described it as a "peaceful protest".

Liberals with an agenda, lie as easily as they breathe.

It will not stop until America makes the decision to stop it and takes the necessary steps.

Which is nothing.

What "necessary steps"? There is nothing that can be done, it's baked into the culture

Barbaric criminal justice system that makes "criminals" angry when they are back on the streets?

Aggressive police force that increases chance of riots?

Gun control? Does not work at all and is just feel good legislation

Mental Health Treatment? A large percentage of this country is severely mentally ill.

Denver has had some crime just like Colorado Springs today.

Denver cop in critical condition and two shot just south of downtown.

Denver police officer shot this morning at 42nd and Alcott in the affluent Highland section of Denver in Democrat Colorado.

In my personal opinion, Colorado has a poisonous, toxic, hard culture.

There is nothing wrong each state having a certain culture but Coloradoans are extremely superficial, arrogant, pretentious. It's not darwinism on steroids. As I said before, it's not the culture for me but all the different personality traits make each state unique.

Jared Polis like to taunt the vulnerable with big cuts to mental health programs and having an extremely weak safety-net compared to many Republican states.

A culture of extreme introversion. Coloradoans are extremely introverted which does mix well with the transient nature of the population.

Jared Polis and a large majority of Coloradoans are very socially darwinistic and proud. There is nothing wrong with their culture as people are free to move to nicer cultured states.

The governor made a fortune by selling a cyber-birthday card company to a search engine that Excite website that caused tremendous layoffs back in the late 1990s.

A state that has a "Marie Antionette" culture that ignores every single social problem.

A majority of Colorado residents are shun people who aren't just like them. There is a tremendous amount of alienation from the Democrats culturer of comformity.

Coloradoans are very highly competititve and extremely in people's face about any successes they have had, it's much different than the plains states.

Interesting assessment, thx. And dunno that I'd agree with all of it, but aside from the 'politics', you bet, folks seldom mention the impact of the local 'culture'. And some sociologists have also pointed to the role of a similar 'Marie Antoinette' culture of 'De Nile' in Minnesota's recurring racial problems.

Because many on the Colorado Front Range which controls the State's politics are transplants from Fascist places like California and elsewhere.
