1. BS

2. There is no legal precedent for registering with the feds simply as a condition of ownership for any legal, personal property, much less one that is guaranteed by the constitution.

Interesting.....

Support for Gun Control Plummets with Young People, Hispanics

a poll from the far-left Washington Post showing a sharp overall decrease in public support for new and more stringent gun control laws. A deeper look inside the poll shows something even more amazing: the sharpest drop came from young people.

Why not add then a do you frequent porn sites database? Do you possess a larger than average amount of liquor database? Do you have a relative who is a Catholic priest database?

For the 1st-I can just as easily connect a line to higher risk you'd molest kids (some could be sites where they make girls look underage), for the 2nd DUI risk high, the 3rd risk of pedophilia by you higher, if the answer is yes.

We can create an Orwellian existence in thousands of ways. It is a slippery slope I wish not to partake.

The liquor one is strange, because as it is now, anyone 21 and older can buy as much booze as they like at one time, enough to fill their car up even! Odd that the 'ATF/DEA' doesnt seem to mind, but with less dangerous substances, and guns, there are very strict limits in place?

Why does the government need a list of law abiding people who own guns? If they had no future plans for confiscating them?

Since they are the problem, how in God's name are you going to get criminals to register their guns?

That's ridiculous, a SSN and drivers license has nothing to do with lawfully owned private property.

I wouldn't like it but then again it's not a matter of whether or not I like it. I also have nothing to hide and if they had a warrant there's nothing I could do to stop them so it'd be a moot point anyway. So I guess why did you even bother asking such a question unless you planned to do or are currently doing activities that are not above board?
You do not have to register vehicles as a condition of owning one. You can own as many vehicles as you like or can afford without having to register them. You just can't legally use them on public roads.

Why did you even bother making such a foolish statement?

He probably doesn't understand that.

Because, regardless of what a number of biased people in black robes have said over the years, there are no constitutional limitations on free men owning firearms.
