Republicans are favorite to win Congress next year and just 1 vote away of taking the senate. How is the GOP in trouble? You think Pelosi will hold Congress for Biden when the economy is turning bad and inflation will go up and gas prices are going up?

Worry about your party in power, I don't see 2 old bats holding both chambers, 1 has to go first.
The house will go to republicans because that's always the way it is when one party controls it all. We need balance. One party should not control both houses and the presidency. Moderates and many conservatives in the party are called rinos because they don't support Trump and it seems to be his party now. So yes, they are leaving. Pelosi and McConnell both need to retire among many others. This shouldn't be a lifetime job

She has huge problems with conservatives in Wyoming in a very red state. Imagine in the blue collar mid-west. She is worthless for the future of the party.

what lie? Trump is playing the same playbook Democrats played on him in 2016. It worked for Democrats in 2018. Liz is too dumb to play but what do you expect someone that sides with Pelosi and the Democrats to go after the base of her own party? She made her bed.

You mean where her ally Adam Kinzinger won by 30 points in November?

It depends if the McMullin led third party gains steam. It could absorb the remain Modern Whig Party and the Alliance Party which includes state Reform and Independence Parties. The "RINOs" can be driven out of the Republican Party for this and not have to worry about pandering to Trump. Plus it might drive donors away from the GOP who think there is no reason to align with Trump going forward.

I think 2022 maybe a wildcard, depending how the albatross of Trump hangs around the neck of the Republican Party. McCarthy sold his soul and double spoke of Jan 6th. He needs to be taken over the coals for his double-speak. There are a number of House Republicans like Arizona's Biggs, Gosar and Lesko as well as Bobert and MJT that need to be removed as well for their help in Jan 6th.

I’d wager Republicans gain back the Senate, too.

So you really think Trump won the 2020 election and that there was massive fraud? That is the Big Lie as spoken by Cheney. I may not like Cheney but unlike McCarthy and the rest of the GOP who are yellow-belly sap-sucking cowards who walked back any criticism on Trump because they are meat puppets or brainless zombies like many on this forum, she has conviction. The GOP proved today they are not the party of law and order but rather lies, corruption and cronyism. RIP GOP 1854-2021

It will be very interesting to watch what happens to the Republican party now.

That comparison is beyond ludicrous. Your point is lost.
