But Columbus was bad.

Both of those statements are true. They are not mutually exclusive of one another.

She didn't even say anything, just "liked" some tweets. The double standard is there because fairness and universality aren't things that the woke concern themselves with.

Columbus dealt with savagery just like the U.S. did in the Indian Wars. However, to your point, Columbus is vilified and the Indians celebrated. Why the huge double standard? Just more Woke HYPOCRISY.

Excerpt: Let's Talk About Cycling and the Power of White Privilege

Response: Opinion

Seems to me that those who complain of turmoil within
others do not realize that the turmoil is within themselves.

How to Kill Racism................Stop talking about it!

Fascinating that there is an expectation of agreement with all sorts of SJW leftist nonsense to be on the Olympic team.

* One reason to keep ones politics off FB. FB excels at two things. 1) Easy keeping up with the goings on of distant kin and friends. 2) Amazing place to keep up with some of the most talented people in various hobbies

* Another reason to not watch the Olympics. Just another example of leftist politics invading sports. Sad. I was looking forward to them. Eh well.

The “Indians” did not all come from one culture. What culture are you taking about?

Columbus recognized that the Taínos/Arawaks were peaceful while this Kalinagos were not.

Yup she's a staunch conservative and chose to speak out.

Like all pro athletes, celebrities, etc...if you choose to say something then there are consequences...right or wrong.

Why doesn't she just shut up and cycle......

But, the very vocal Lesbian, far left radical soccer player, i forget her name as I've flushed it thankfully, is just fine. Why doesn't she just shut up and kick the ball?

Dishonesty and hypocrisy define the Left and their followers.

You make my point better than I did.

Back when basketball players spoke out they were told to shut up and dribble. The cry from conservatives has always been that athletes and celebs shouldn't speak up and if they do -- suffer whatever consequences.
But no when a conservative speaks up -- she has a right to her voice -- lol. It's not fair.

Sure it is....like other celebs & athletes the consequences for taking a public stance may not be what they were hoping for.

There is nothing dishonest or hypocritical about folks agreeing that taking a public stance as a public figure has consequences.

The hypocrisy is whining about the consequences for her speaking out, but saying liberal celebs or athletes should shut up or deserve their consequences -- whatever they may be.
