The number one problem is that about 50% of all Muslims in the world are inbred. Study after study has shown that inbreeding correlates to dictatorial societies, low education levels, and tribal warfare. The worst thing the free countries can do is try to appease these places.
Britain currently has a serious public health issue because of significant inbreeding among Pakistani immigrants. The rates of genetic disease in Britain are soaring due to this.
There is inbreeding in other cultures, including Orthodox Jews, but the vast majority of Israel is not inbred, and is a major factor in why it functions more like a western democracy than a Middle Eastern hell hole.
