He told the podcast: "You notice I didn't say motorway, I really am becoming American."

But the prince could find himself less welcomed by his hosts after having his say about the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The First Amendment protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

But Prince Harry, an anti-press campaigner, said: "I have so much I want to say about the First Amendment. I still don't understand it but it is bonkers."

Keep in mind that this statement was in the context of the paparazzi being allowed to take and publish photos of celebrity children. He was on Dax Shepard's podcast, and Shepard has been very vocal about how celebrities choose to be famous, but their children don't.



Dax and his wife, Kristin Bell, block out their children's faces on social media to help them keep their privacy. We saw how people lost their minds when Harry and Megan tried to do the same by taking a photo from behind of Archie for his birthday.



I think if paparazzi were hiding out on truckbeds on your street to get photos of your kid, you might question how that's a good use of free speech too.
