Well 150 Law Enforcement Officers were injured trying to prevent the “ peaceful demonstrators “ gathered in Lafayette Park trying to storm the White House.
Not one of the protestors entering the Capitol was in possession of a firearm. The Capitol POlice had firearms , including automatic weapons.
Sounds like Trump did a poor job of putting cops in place to defend the Capitol.

The cops didn't know for sure what was or wasn't going to happen and they were outnumbered substantially. He very well could have thought there was grave danger depending on his location.

The country has sunk very low when our Capitol is attacked to stop the election results. And I would think Pence would be protected from the people who had gallows set up for him and called for his hanging. This was not the general public taking a stroll. What this tells me is that we have domestic terrorists.

That the general public has a non-negligible percentage of crazies and crackpots, and that this country is incredibly efficient in seeing to it that crazies and crackpots can be very, very well-armed.
