Whether diabetes per se is up or down in the general population is not material to this topic. You don't die from diabetes. You die from a complication. Diabetes does make one more susceptible to serious Covid 19 and resultant death. But a high or low blood sugar is not a typical pathway to death with Covid 19.
Let’s not act like it won’t get chalked up to covid.
