I just hope we can get to 2022 without too much more crazy being done between now and then.

I'm so sick of the dems wanting to divide everyone into categories instead of treating everyone equally. I feel we're going backward and it's not going to be good for us. I also personally don't want to see our country torn down which seems to be their agenda. So far the old man is successful with all the crises...especially the open borders.

Once the republicans win, do you feel we'll be able to repair any of this or we'll only be able to prevent more bad ideas from passing. What more damage would old man dementia corrupt Joe be able to do through executive orders?

I just want us to still be somewhat fixable for when a republican president takes over.

No, this is just the world now. Adapt or die.

Good luck at Republicans winning. They keep shooting themselves in the foot. I used to be one. Went independent. I still voted almost always for the R candidate. Now, no more. Doesn't mean I'm a Democrat now or anything, I guess I will vote 3rd party or something.

At this point I still hope both parties die off as they are both wrecking the nation.

Biden reversed Trump's policies and the next one in the White House will have their own ideas. It just depends on who it is. If the GOP takes back the House and Senate that will at least handcuff Biden's out of control reckless spending. He will have to be ousted in 2024 to get a handle on immigration and all the other destructive things he and his radical far-left handlers have done.

The sad truth is it’s not possible to save the country at this point.

I try not to think about it.

A Republican-controlled Congress doesn't really seem to do much of anything any more. Mostly they're happy to lower taxes on the rich and otherwise gum up the works. I wouldn't expect much.

Cue up CrowGirl's broken record - we need a viable moderate third party that represents where I think most of Americans are - more fiscally conservative than the Democrats (or the Republicans these days) but more socially liberal than the Republicans. Too much to ask? No, but those in both parties with enough political capital to do this don't want to take the risk.

If they take the House and Senate they can limit the damage the Harris administration can do, but it'll just be a first step.

The GOP doesn't want to win and they don't want America to win. They're a fabulously profitable corporation masquerading as an opposition party.

Trump and GOP voters want to win and they want America to win.

Until people can understand that, there is no path forward.

Republicans at the congressional level don't seem to have any values besides cutting taxes for the rich and keeping marijuana illegal, which I even as a social conservative I oppose... both of these. True fiscal and social conservatism is dead. At best they vote against what the democrats vote for because they think it will get them votes in the next election, but actually standing on principles?

I actually think Noem might make a decent candidate despite her anti-marijuana stance. She seems to have some values that she sticks to her guns on and she can get away with more because she's a woman. Democrats hate republican women, just like they hate black republicans.... so if she runs I'll grudgingly support her. Gotta play the democrats at their own game. Running a woman candidate is sound strategy.
