It was probably for the distraction, just like the CDC’s announcement last week regarding masks to cover for the fact that Dr. Fauci and the NIH indirectly funded the gain of function lab that probably caused this pandemic. Politicians love to change the news cycle when they can.

I won’t forget easily either.

Just as ridiculous as having one because you do.

Masks aren't normal and are idiotic for the general public to walk around wearing.

To not find an issue with it and to just accept it ad infinitum is nuts.

Texas' rolling 7 day average deaths currently stands at 44 deaths/day.

Yesterday Texas had 28 new COVID deaths.

Hooray?

Having 0 reported deaths on a Sunday is not at all uncommon. Often times Sunday's numbers are simply reported on Monday, when "normal" business resumes.

From the OP link, (quote, my bold, underlining and italics):

"As the world continues its efforts to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas recorded its first day ever with zero fatalities in a single day, according to Gov. Greg Abbott."
[end quote]

So now I am wondering how many people, both "regular" people and politicians, think that we ARE now in the recovery phase of COVID?

It would be wonderful if we actually are in the final stage of the pandemic!

I know you are mad that people are getting back to normal.

Do you think even 23 out of a population of 29 million is statistically relevant?

Would you alter your lifestyle for those odds?

Moreover, do you think the viro-doomers prediction of gloom and doom over the removal of restrictions and masks was justified based on 0, or 23 deaths?

Cherry picking the 16th was a Sunday, 3 day moving average around 20.

All states are declining so this is a good thing.
