I could vote Republican if the right person came along. The thing is, Trump is not the right person. In 2016, John Kasich is the person I wanted to see win the GOP Primary. However, Trump won. If you voted for Trump, fine, whatever. What is disturbing to me is that many Trump supporters are treating him like he's God, like he can do no wrong. It gets to a point of antagonism. That is what I see. Trump mocked journalist Serge Kovaleski, mocking Kovaleski's disability in the process. His "I like soldiers who weren't captured". Regardless of how you feel about McCain, that was still wrong. His "look at my African-American over there" comment in Redding, CA. His racially charged comments towards then President Obama regarding the riots in Baltimore (by the way, the riots should have been handled by the mayor and governor, so I don't see why Trump went after Obama). All of that was enough for me to say no to Trump. This is why I voted for Gary Johnson in 2016.
I don't see what's to like about Trump. What I do see is a toxic cult surrounding Trump.
