These are the type of changes that sound harsh to the average bleeding heart but will actually make people healthier. If somebody is regular flyer for work they might start paying attention to their health more.
I personally don't want to sit by somebody in a plane if they are moving into my personal space because they are over weight.
Screw 'em. I haven't been on an airliner since 2000, I believe. The last time was before the SS took over at the boarding gates.
You haven't flown in 20 years because what? The boarding gates are manned by airlines staff, it's usually one or two people show up an hour before the flight. Sometimes they are the same ones who checked you in downstairs.
So you're denying yourself travel because you think the lady saying which rows can board now is SS? Boy you sure showed them with your mighty drama cannon!

1. I don't see any actual changes being made.
2. I'm skeptical anyone too obese to board a plane is going to make health decisions based on that fact.
The truly sad part is, I don't see those rates ever really coming down, they might plateau here and there, but most likely they will just continue to slowly climb, at least here in the US!
And what happens when too many fat people want to get on the plane ?
....people get offered vouchers to bounce off the flight.....
