I'm not sure Republicans who support such oppressive anti abortion laws will get voted out if no horror stories come out about women dying, because they couldn't get abortions, or rapists having a legal say. These abortion bans will surely cause women to turn to drugs more than ever to prevent or to induce abortions, making horror stories less likely. Abortions inducing drugs are supposed to be safe up to the 12th or so week. If they are banned, that will simply lead to an underground industry for them.
This is not necessarily about women dying, it is about women being denied bodily autonomy and reproductive rights. This law will mostly affect low-income women who won't be able to afford to travel to other states to obtain an abortion. Especially because of the lawsuit provision, which will make their friends and relatives much less likely to lend them money for an abortion, or provide transportation. This is insanity and dystopian extremist and can't stand. If Texas men and women have any concern for their female relatives, they will vote to get rid of the Texas Taliban Leaders.

Texas is trying their best to continue to keep the population less educated, poorer, and an easy source of cheap disposable labor as they can't stand any minimum wage increases.

Those couples will hop on a Southwest flight to one of a dozen states for their abortion.
That is what will happen, people will leave and go to other states.
The poor can drive across the borders to Louisiana or New Mexico.
Back in the old days Mexico did a booming abortion business. There will be abortion factories at the Border towns.
If as much time and effort as has been spent on pro-life vs pro choice teaching females how to deal with the pressure put on them by men wanting sex, this would not be an issue.
