This is a win for liberals.

They decided “my body my choice” doesn’t apply for covid vaccines or facemasks, so Texas has extended that logic to fetuses.

Abortions inducing drugs are supposed to be safe up to the 12th or so week. If they are banned, that will simply lead to an underground industry for them.
This is not necessarily about women dying, it is about women being denied bodily autonomy and reproductive rights. This law will mostly affect low-income women who won't be able to afford to travel to other states to obtain an abortion. Especially because of the lawsuit provision, which will make their friends and relatives much less likely to lend them money for an abortion, or provide transportation. This is insanity and dystopian extremist and can't stand. If Texas men and women have any concern for their female relatives, they will vote to get rid of the Texas Taliban Leaders.

Had they been paying attention the people who did this would never have been elected. I can promise you this legislation has been on the front burner for Texas conservatives since the day the abortion became legal.
I agree. And I hope they will FINALLY do something about it. If they don't, they deserve what they get.

6 weeks is before many know they’re even pregnant. Maybe Texas should pass out crystal balls?

No that would be Biden and the Dems by letting 120,000+ Uneducated illegals pour across our Texas Border every month.

BTW, how many uneducated Afgan refugees is Biden dumping in your state?

Google is your friend. There you will find medical information on dangerous pregnancy conditions.

That is what will happen, people will leave and go to other states.

The poor can drive across the borders to Louisiana or New Mexico.

Back in the old days Mexico did a booming abortion business. There will be abortion factories at the Border towns.

If as much time and effort as has been spent on pro-life vs pro choice teaching females how to deal with the pressure put on them by men wanting sex, this would not be an issue.

Much has been said about females keeping their legs together. I have never heard anything about horny men keeping their pants zipped. Or mothers teaching their boys to have some self control.

All so Texass can pretend they care about women and children. That’s laughable considering their rankings:

50th in Baby Wellness
50th in Clinical care for Infants
50th in Uninsured Women
43rd in Maternal Mortality
44th in School Funding per child
46th in Child Hunger

Texass legislators care about pandering to their base and nothing more.
