Medically necessary care is not an abortion.

I know someone who was told her child would be brain damaged. Baby was born perfectly healthy.

I know someone who was told she was having a boy. Baby was a girl.

There are tons of stories like this. You just don't hear about it because it doesn't fit the abortion agenda.

The poor woman will have to carry the child until birth only to watch it die.

“We had an amniocentesis and had noticed some abnormalities in the ultrasound,” Broman noted. “So we saw a specialist in Indianapolis and did an amnio there too. … On the ultrasound, they initially saw multiple defects within her heart, and they didn’t think her esophagus was attached to her stomach. … And that’s when they told me what it was and that it was in every cell of her body.”

The condition was Trisomy 18.

All she remembers hearing that day were the words “incompatible with life.”

More mothers will be forced to carry fetuses to birth and watch them die!

Quote:
Birth defects affect 1 in 33 babies and are a leading cause of infant mortality in the United States. More than 4,000 infants die each year because of birth defects. In addition, babies who survive and live with birth defects are at increased risk for developing many lifelong physical, cognitive, and social challenges.

I continue to find it odd that there are people who look for any and every reason to defend a mother killing her baby.

It shouldn't surprise me but it still does. I guess that's good. It means I still have hope that the most vehement and rabid supporters of abortion will get their AHA moment and realize:

Abortion is the act of a mother killing her baby.

There is no simpler way to put it.

They’d force the woman to carry that non viable fetus for another 4.5 months, then suffer through labor and watch her baby die because she doesn’t matter. Only their views on abortion matter. That’s compassionate Conservatism for you.

Make physical sexual intercourse between a man and woman illegal. If caught both parties are sterilized.
Seems fair. Both sinners are equally punished.

The scenario you depict is exactly why surgical sterilization procedures are available.
Not anti science at all. More people have sex for recreation, pregnancies, parenthood is not what’s on their mind. Should it be every time, no. People “should” do lots of things but don’t. “Should” consider a better way, but don’t. The only constant is privacy. How everyone handles their reproduction is their business.

I find it odd that those who know nothing about medicine, dictate what a woman has to do with her pregnancy!

Same people who tell pregnant women what they should do, deny them the medical care and support needed for their pregnancy and care of baby after birth.

In fact, these same people would have the immigrant children die on the other side of trump's wall while they dictate medical decisions to American women.

Is that as idiotic as what you posted? YEP.

Or: Howzabout women have a clue, use BC, choose sex partners wisely, and don't have unprotected sex with all those DEADBEATS all the time.

Would that work? Nah, they say, Women reserve the right to have unprotected sex with deadbeat men and then kill the baby afterward when he leaves. Honey, he left before the date was over.

Seriously.

I mean, how do all those women having sex all the time manage NOT TO GET PREGNANT? Are they just smarter than everyone else? Do they know about some secret birth control?
Do you really believe it’s possible for 100% of women to discern 100% of the time if a man is a deadbeat or not? How many guys are great until faced with becoming fathers and skeddadle immediately? Many. You just choose to believe that there’s some sort of perfect deadbeat test women can administer to make the perfect choice. That’s fantasy not reality.

Exact same people who want to ban abortion and believe a woman should recognize a deadbeat dad, are against paying an honest working man a living wage. Go figure!

One of the most common reasons for abortion is financial hardship!
