I was not speaking of desire. Im talking logistics. The only way to peace there is when one side is standing over the bodies of the other. Sad but it is reality.
PS. Ill make this easy. I am pro Israel. (mostly)
Thanks. Israel has agreed to peace many times. It is the Palestinians who, under Hamas, keep insisting they want to wipe out Israel. Once they get over their Jew hate and accept Israel as a neighbor, there will be peace. But with the radical left Democrats demonizing Israel, there’s less and less of a chance that the Palestinians will ever accept a Jewish state.
Most people on this thread have no idea what they are talking about.
Here is the actual truth:
Palestine/ Hamas have committed war crimes, there is zero doubt of that. In fact, they’ve committed war crimes for decades now. They target non combatants and they use innocent civilians as human shields. They also use mosques and hospitals for military purposes. They have also used perfidy, or false surrender. Hamas does not operate under any guidance such as LOAC.
Israel, on the other hand, does adhere to LOAC. Israel tries to do the right thing, but there is such a thing as fog of war. Precision weapons sometimes fail, mistakes are made under duress, etc.
Our fake media always tries to use “fog of war” incidents to paint a picture of war crimes committed with ill intent. This just isn’t true. They use this tactic against the US military, too.
Both sides, and even the US, have used what some people consider torture to try and gain information. The international community isn’t so clear cut on this being a war crime, though. So I would set aside this one area, because the definition of torture is subjective. Is water boarding torture? Some think it isn’t.
Israel could disappear tomorrow and LM and Raytheon wouldnt be hurt by it. Israel more like a testing ground for new tech and tactics.
A hit of one billion a year won't hurt these companies, I see a new Iron Dome order on the way. Then there is the Saudi Arabia proxy wars in Yemen, it's a wonderful life.
So either you are an extreme zionist who believes that Jewish people own Israel and should be bankrolled by US tax payers without limit.
Or you are an anti-semite.
A Jewish professor explained what American Jews should do, lie and say Israel is a weak/small state rather than live up to their numerous war crimes (and counting).
And you are an extreme anti-semite, are you proud of yourself? By the way you are woefully ignorant about Israel. Have you ever been there? No, you rely on CNN.

If leveling buildings in a city as dense as Gaza is "doing the right thing" god help us. One thing to use the iron dome which is defensive quite another story to have hundreds of sorties a day on a city with civilians that can't even leave.

Precision weapons. LOL
Actually I'm impressed by their ability to level individual buildings in a densely populated area. At first I was a bit perplexed as to how they were doing it.
Then I watched a few slow motion videos and realized they're using bunker busters (mainly in pairs). In essence, they're blowing the entire foundation out from under these buildings. It's like pulling a chair out from under someone. They tend to just fall straight down.
It used to be that if an army wanted to level a building they literally just dropped bombs on top or initiated mortar/tank/ artillery fire to destroy the building piece by piece. I think we'll see this tactic used in the future by other militaries in urban warzones.
Every innocent civilian death is terrible. It's a mistake that can't be corrected for the families who are suffering. On the other hand, taking into account just how densely populated Gaza is, it's a low casualty rate for the type of munitions used. If this was Russia, they'd have killed 200 civilians with their first 10 bombs.
With everything Israel can do pretty well, it should be embarrassed by how bad the genocide of the palestinians has gone.
