It blows me away that there are people who either still can't see it, or have seen it and pretend otherwise, for purely political reasons. Who are you talking about? Trump? If so, no, "everybody" did not love him. He was considered a joke and an idiot by the vast majority of New Yorkers. Not loved whatsoever, and that would not have changed if he had run as a Democrat. The big difference is that his hatred schtick wouldn't have played and he would have been an also ran in the primary, and have deservedly faded away into political obscurity.

We'll never be trusted on the world stage again - because if we elected an incompetent, corrupt carny barking moron once, what's to say it won't happen again - and, of course, our future elections will more and more be decided by the ruling party in a state, not the popular vote.
