YUGE HIPPA violation.
Lawyers are drooling over the suspension of the constitution by Kung Flu 1984.

No dice, Team Red.

It's merely shifting the mask mandate to a vax card mandate. It's a violation of the natural rights of the owner, of course.

https://www.kgw.com/article/news/hea...2-925740173d84

When you enter a business you must do as the owner says. If he says show me a vax card you must operate under the assumption that it is his wishes to see it and not the State's edict.

Now, if you wish to ask him directly and he says it's strictly due to the State edict go ahead and ask to come in without showing the vax card. If he says yes, fine...go in and shop. If he says no, you must leave and then take it to the market to pressure him to stand up to the government.

Let's not put together another year of Karen tik toks of mask madness, Trumpers. Learn property rights.

Really...would that also apply to Christian bakers that refuse to cater for gay weddings.

Yes.

Look, it sucks.

But it's no different than the mask mandate or a min. wage mandate or an hours of operation mandate. They are all violations of our rights. I am acknowledging that it is morally and logically wrong to have the vax mandate in effect but it is no more or less egregious than those other mandates.

Be consistent in your outrage and if the owner says you need a vax card, wear your underwear on your head, or won't bake you a cake because you have red socks on...you must abide.

A private business can refuse to do business with anyone.

I want property owners to have rights. Customers must respect those rights. It's how natural rights play out in reality.

Unless the customer asks the owner if he/she is doing x,y,z under duress from the government and they don't actually agree with whatever the policy is then you must do it. If the owner says I'm only doing it because the government is making me then ask him/her if you can break the policy. If the owner says yes, proceed to violate the government edict. If the owner says I don't agree with it but I still need you to follow the policy then you must abide or leave. When you leave go ahead and use market pressure to bring attention to what the owner is doing.

Again, had Trumpers been able to comprehend this 15 months ago we would have been much better off.

It's not a HIPAA violation. HIPAA applies to medical providers who cannot disclose your medical history to anyone without your approval.

In this case, it's the business asking. You can say no and be refused service or show your card and move on with life without a giant hair across you anus.
