Well according to a certain nascar driver, a simple manual pull down rope for a garage door is a noose.
Along with a fair share of the Democratic party, the entire MSM and some of the FBI. Lets face it, we're not dealing with the sharpest tools in the shed.
This isn't a "thought crime". There are no "thought crimes", since no one knows what you're thinking.
I don't know, and have said this, who planted these nooses and for what purpose, or the race of the person who created the nooses.
What I DO know, is that it's a symbolic noose, meant to represent a threat. Hopefully the FBI will be able to unravel the origin.
But then, I'm not on the left. Firmly in the center.
The Left certainly sees expressing some thoughts as crimes.....
And you DON'T KNOW that anyone fashioned that rope into a noose in order to communicate a threat.
And even if they did, a threat has to be directed at someone in order to actually BE a threat.
Saying that it's comunicating a threat towards black people in general doesn't cut it, because that's just an assumption on your part that happens to fit your narrative.

there was absolutely an act here, so its no longer just thought.
Now again, the original article says the police dismissed the second complaint all together because the ropes were different, and began investigating when the other 5/6 showed up matching the first, and that this all happened over at least 3 days, so it seems less and less likely that this is a NASCAR level mistake

Yes, I do know that. Because I have eyes and a brain in my head.
Whether the person who fashioned the rope into a noose is himself black, and was trying to create racial strife out of nothing, that I don't know.
But what I DO KNOW, is that was meant to represent a noose, and a threat. And hopefully the FBI can sort this out.
For informational purposes , it should be known that this is quite a project , employing perhaps hundreds of construction workers. Fairly large footprint. Each day of delay will lengthen the time needed for completion and affect those waiting for the affiliated employment positions. That number is close to 1000.
To shut it all down based on a rope hanging , or more than one, well.....
