Darwin's theory is that the strong survive in nature. How many races are there in the human race?

Now do the second half.

Not just a consequence, but "absolutely" a consequence.

Yes, the height of racism was caused by evolutionary theory. The HEIGHT, being that it spiked dramatically AFTER Charles Darwin, not before. Moreover, Charles Darwin's theory of evolution was AFTER slavery was already abolished pretty much everywhere. Descent of Man was published in 1871.

So if racism was only to justify slavery, racism would have been worse during slavery rather than after. Moreover, the height of the KKK was in the 1920's. So your timeline simply doesn't make any sense.

The truth is, scientific racism in the Francis Galton era paved the way to Adolf Hitler. We're seeing another resurgence of scientific racism in the modern DNA era. Humans are not the same. These quack social-scientists can't keep lying about it forever. The truth is coming out.

PS: Go take an ancestry test then send me your raw DNA data. I'll tell you who you are.

Races are a social construct. There are only genes, and genes are associated with ancestry.

The thing about humans is, they are social animals. Being social animals our evolution isn't individualistic. Humans evolve as groups. Which is why humans have many prosocial emotions/behaviors. But these emotions have no place in the modern world, and are often detrimental. The modern world rewards selfishness, immorality, and psychopathy.

"You should be property because of your race" doesn't qualify as the height of racism. Mmmkay, then. It's not as if there's a fixed scale, but - seriously?

Not genetic? What defines the social construct or rather who? If it isn't genetic, then what makes you and I different one from another? How did the Caucasians arrive in evolution without a genetic difference?

Much of Darwin's biases were a product of his time and his culture, so this isn't all that surprising. History needs to be explored in context.

Darwin's theory still holds today. It has not been disproven.
But the cancel culture wants him out, out, out.

MLK was extremely sexist. Told women in his own organization that offered advice to him to go fetch coffee.

In the 1950s he wrote a column where he told physically abused wives to look in the mirror and change themselves so their husbands won't beat them. He told women who had cheating husbands to mimic the other girl.

He had affairs, made crude jokes, made sexist jokes, allegedly participated in a rape.
